 Portugal has some great Relais & Chateaux properties with great quality and we proposed to gather them all in this itinerary which we hereby present and that allows enjoying each of the places, combining with the best Unesco World heritage sites of Portugal. 

As usual we can adapt this itinerary to your needs. 

Day 1 - Arrival 

 Arrival in Porto,  private transfer at Porto Airport and accommodation at The Yeatman *****, for 2 nights.

Day 2 - Feel Porto

In the morning, after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel for a half-day tour through the city of Porto with an official Tour Guide. 

In the historical city centre, considered World Heritage by UNESCO, you will have more than enough time to explore Lello Bookstore, where Harry Potter books and movies were inspired.  

The Golden Church of São Francisco and right next door you'll find the Stock Exchange Palace with incredible granite work and magnificent neo-Arab influences (entrance not included). 

e will finish this tour with visit and wine tasting to the famous Port wine cellars. 

Transfer back to your hotel with enough free time to enjoy the magnificent Spa options. 

Day 3 - Guimarães and Amarante 

After breakfast, Hotel check-out and time to explore the Minho region and Unesco's world heritage city of Guimarães.  Heading to Amarante, Accommodation for 2 nights at Casa da Calçada***** . Free time to enjoy this romantic small town.

Day 4 - The incredible Douro Valley 

After breakfast, a  guide will pick you up to go on a tour to admire the best of  the many what Douro Valley, followed by a traditional lunch in one of the famous wineries in Douro Valley. 

After lunch visit to the vineyards and wine tasting. 

Finish  the afternoon in beauty with a boat trip along Douro river, enjoy the breathless views. Transfer to your hotel anf free evening and night (restaurant suggestions available).

Day 5 - South bound with Viseu and Coimbra

Hotel Check-out and proceed to South, passing by Viseu and Coimbra, for visiting both cities. Accommodation at Fortaleza do Guincho*****, in Cascais, for 3 nights.

Strategically built back in the 17th century as a fortress, it still holds its noble and strong posture, watching and diving with exquisite elegance into the Atlantic Ocean. Together with Cabo da Roca lighthouse - the farthest point to the west in European continent - Fortaleza is the guardian of one of the most exquisite landscapes in Portugal, including the wonderful Guincho beach and the steep, green hills of Sintra in the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais. Free evening to enjoy Cascais' charm.

Day 6  - Sintra, the fairytale town and Colares winery 

After breakfast pick up at your hotel and we''ll take you on a Day Tour to Sintra and Colares.

Sintra offers a foretaste of Paradise. The soft climate ensures a freshness permanent existence of a luxuriant vegetation that makes Sintra a deeply romantic and mysterious place.

It’s time to explore Sintra’s mountain where you will get chance to see and know all of the sights and monuments history and you can choose one monument to visit in the inside. From Pena Palace the famous fairy-tail like Palace, to Quinta da Regaleira with it’s enigmatic grottoes and mysteries, passing through the Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace and many more.

From Sintra’s mountain we then head to the rural area, the beautiful countryside following the antique tram line until we reach Colares, where life is simple and agriculture predominates as well as wine making! Colares has the oldest wine seller in the country and we will take you there for a visit with wine tasting. 

Return to Cascais along the coast, passing by Estoril admiring the beautiful coast and it’s beaches.

Day 7 and 8 - Enjoying Lisbon's Charm 

2 Days to explore Lisbon (if you wish guided tours or activities please consult us).

Day 9 - Towards the south sea 

Hotel Check-out and  you'll proceed to the Algarve, passing by Evora, to explore this beautiful city.

Classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO since 1986, Évora is called the "White City" and also “City Museum”. Évora dazzles his visitors with lush architectural and artistic, monumental churches, historic squares, white houses and narrow medieval streets. Évora invites you to discover a city that is synonymous of mix of cultures. Free time to lunch. In the afternoon, visit of a production farm of Wines to its facilities and manufacturing process with wine tasting.

Accommodation for 3 nights at Hotel Belavista *****, in Portimão.

The Bela Vista Hotel is an intimate and luxurious hotel as well as an historical property - an authentic experience in the Algarve, a Portuguese dream; a true boutique hotel situated right on the amazing beach of Praia da Rocha. Day 10 and 11 - Algarve: Sea, Sun and Cataplanas

Free day in the Algarve that can be used for relaxing in the magnificent beaches, in the property where you'll be accommodated, or for visiting some nearby interesting towns such as Lagos. You may also opt by doing an activity related with Nature such as Birdwatching or hiking in the interior of the Algarve or go for a round at one of the many world leading golf courses.  Amazing restaurants filled with freshly fished seafood will be recommended. Day 12 

Hotel Check-out and return to Lisbon airport (2h45m driving).
